Grapefruit & Ginger Tea
It’s still citrus season over here in France so I wanted to make the most of it with this bright and tangy Grapefruit & Ginger Tea. Perfect for keeping warm on chilly winter days or as a way to boost your Vitamin C intake & get that extra bit of energy to keep you going when its cold outside.
Made up of only 6 ingredients, this invigorating brew comes together in just minutes. In a pot, mix the freshly pressed grapefruit juice with water and add in the ginger, cardamom, star anise & honey before bringing to a boil. Cover & leave to infuse for a bit before enjoying warm - with a biscuit or two?
Bright, fresh and tangy, this warming beverage can be made more or less strong and/or sweet to your taste - add more water to dilute or more honey to add extra sweetness - and it can even be prepared ahead of time. Store it in an airtight glass jar for up to a week and warm it up when you are ready for a little comforting pick-me-up. Enjoy!
